For those of you with sensitive skin and hyperpigmentation concerns (like me), here are 5 products across skincare categories I think everyone should add to their carts during Amazon’s Spring Sale (ending 5/31). All of these products are fragrance free and barrier supporting — two of the most important qualities for me in skincare, and truly the guiding principle when deciding what skincare I invest in.
The through-line across all of these: you can use all the actives in the world, but they won’t work if your barrier is wrecked. Barrier first. Everything else enhances.
Barrier Repair: Aestura ATOBARRIER365 Cream
My barrier support go-to, and honestly the product I’d recommend before anything else on this list. Aestura’s Triple Lipid Complex delivers ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids via ceramide capsules. You can literally see the capsules in the cream, and watch them melt into skin on contact. It’s fragrance free, allergy tested, and National Eczema Association approved. An all around great option for sensitive skin.
Firming + Anti-Aging: Naturium Multi-Peptide Advanced Serum
My current go-to for firmer looking skin and a more youthful appearance overall. It’s powered by an advanced multi-peptide blend — including encapsulated copper peptides and Argireline Amplified — to improve texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Encapsulated ferulic acid and collagen help skin look more snatched and bouncy. Lightweight, fragrance free, and genuinely effective for what it costs.
Deep Hydration + Reset: Aestura AtoBarrier365 Hydro CERA-HA Face Serum
This is what I reach for when I’ve overdone it on actives and need a skin reset. It combines the same proprietary Triple Lipid Complex as the ATOBARRIER cream in a lightweight serum, delivering intense hydration while reinforcing the barrier. The Cera-HA complex pairs ceramide NP with hyaluronic acid for improved moisture retention, and the results are real — skin stays more hydrated for longer and genuinely bounces back. No weight, no residue, just recovery.
Retinoid: Celimax The Vita A Retinal Shot Tightening Booster
I won’t stop raving about this one. It’s a 0.1% liposomized retinal formula. It’s powered by micro-liposomal tech; literally phospholipid spheres that act as carriers, penetrating deeper than standard retinol. Retinal also converts to retinoic acid faster than retinol, which means visible results sooner and with less irritation. It helps firm skin, minimize the appearance of pores, and reduce wrinkles. A seriously underrated retinoid.
Eye Cream: SKIN1004 Centella Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream
I’ve fallen in love with this one. Another K-beauty gem — it uses Bakuchiol, a gentle plant-based retinol alternative, to help minimize fine lines and support skin elasticity in the sensitive eye area. It’s enriched with fermented Centella Asiatica and Ceramide NP for barrier support and soothing, plus low-molecular hyaluronic acid and collagen to maximize hydration where the skin is thinnest.
Note: Amazon’s Spring Sale ends Tuesday March 31; after that prices return to normal. Introduce one product at a time, patch test new actives. If your barrier is already compromised, I recommend you start with the Aestura cream before anything else.
